a Progress Coaches to work across College campuses for
37 hours per week - term time only.


We will offer a salary of

About the Job


The Progress Coach will support identified students to develop their knowledge, skills and behaviours to succeed and progress onto their intended destination.

The role will also include training groups of students with a focus on professional standards for assigned curriculum area as part of weekly tutorial session, attendance checking, organising weekly meetings and carrying out 1:1 reviews with students, setting individual targets aligned to professional standards and behaviours.


  • Work closely with Attendance Officers to monitor and follow up absences with parent/guardian and external agencies where applicable
  • Develop and deliver high quality tutorial sessions in line with the College Quality Framework.
  • Deliver high quality, preplanned employability sessions

About You

  • Educational qualifications to at least level
  • Experience of working with young people in a post16 environment to support them in their educational journeys and personal development
  • Knowledge and understanding of a range of additional needs and their impact upon the individual's capacity to learn.
