Job Title:
SEND Support Assistant

Location:

Job Type:
Full time(TTO) (Monday Tuesday and Thursday , Wednesday , Friday
ASAP

Salary:
£22,775 (pro rata £20,060)

Requirements:

Relevant experience or qualification in supporting individuals with mild to moderate learning difficulties in an educational setting.
A compassionate and patient approach, with a genuine interest in supporting the learning and development of students.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team, supporting teachers and contributing to the overall learning environment.
Understanding of individualized education plans and strategies to support student progress.
Enhanced DBS check and eligibility to work in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored support to students with mild to moderate learning difficulties, assisting them in their educational journey.
Collaborate with teaching staff to implement individualised education plans and classroom support strategies.
Engage and support students in their learning, promoting a positive and inclusive environment within the classroom.
Assist in the development and delivery of learning activities, aiding students' understanding and progress.
Work closely with the SENCO to ensure effective support for students, implementing strategies to meet individual needs.
