We are looking to recruit graduates with training and/or Degrees in Sports to work in client schools as Teaching assistants to work with us from January 2023.


Tradewind is an established education recruitment agency based in Bristol and we have a large number of schools in Bristol and surrounding areas.

Our schools are keen to have sports graduates to work in their classrooms with students with additional needs.

Pay rates:
£70-£100 per day depending on the role and your experience.


Main duties will be:

  • To aid the pupil to learn as effectively as possible both in group situations and on his/her own by encouraging them and explaining tasks clearly
  • Motivating and encouraging the pupil(s) as required by providing levels of individual attention, reassurance and help with learning tasks as appropriate to pupils' needs
  • Class sizes will vary and schools can be special needs schools or Mainstream Secondary or Mainstream Primary schools across the city.

Essential requirements:

  • Any Sport coaching Degree or experience
  • Any sports science or related degree
  • Willingness to work as a teaching assistant which might not involve any sporting activities.


Most of our schools are going to be local to you and we will offer you training through our experienced recruitment consultants and Ofsted rated CPD sessions.

  • To provide engaging and empathetic educational support to pupils
  • To assist the teacher in delivering lessons

  • To aid learning and emotional wellbeing
