Operations Manager

Salary:
£35,000-£40,000 plus bonus, car allowance, and pension.

Hours:
Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Location:
Birmingham - overseeing accounts Nationwide


We are looking to hire a data-driven Operations Manager with a background in Recruitment to join us on a full time permanent basis.

We're ambitious both for our clients and for the ongoing success of our business, and as Recruitment Operations Manager, you'llsee to it that we're consistently excelling in our aims.


This role will work closely with the Chief Operations Director acting as her 'right-hand person' freeing up some of her time to focus on big plans for expansion.

The successful applicant will be comfortable liaising with important clients, 'managing up'in a way that is helpful for the senior team, and leading and developing colleagues.

They will be used to working in a fast-paced environment, will be calm under pressure, and capable of making important decisions in sometimes challenging situations.


Key responsibilities

  • Oversee recruitment operations in the Perms, Temps and Office Support Divisions
  • Lead and develop individuals/teams
  • Drive high performance; work alongside COD and HR to imbed a positive culture into the company
  • Act as a senior account manager to our most important clients
  • Set, track and report on KPI's
  • Contribute to company/divisional strategy
  • Reporting
  • Manage special projects
  • Implement systems and processes
  • Research projects
  • Compliance and legislation

Person specification
We are looking for a self-starter who is comfortable 'managing up' as well as leading teams/individuals to achieve.

The successful applicant will take ownership of all aspects of the recruitment business and will be tech-savvy and able to produce effectivereports to enable senior management to easily gain an overview of what is happening in all operational teams.

The Ops Manager will come from a fast-paced environment and will be able to juggle multiple projects at any one time, whilst providing exceptionalservice to our clients and leading the recruitment teams.

They will have extensive experience of using recruitment software; experience sourcing and implementing new software will be a great advantage.
