Description
L.A. Recruitment Group are looking for 3x Multi Drop 7.5T Drivers for a company based in Ilkeston. Area to be covered is East Midlands.

This is temp to perm position, pay rate from £432 per week + overtime x 1.5 after 8h, Monday to Friday day shift 6am-2.45pm.


Responsibilities:


  • Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations
  • Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
  • Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and obtain necessary signatures or documentation
  • Communicate with dispatchers or supervisors regarding any delays, issues, or changes in delivery routes
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving and operating delivery vehicles
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, reporting any issues or malfunctions promptly

Skills:


  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Previous experience as a delivery driver or courier preferred
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in verifying delivery orders
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions effectively
