HR Officer/Manager
Our client is in search of an experienced HR officer or HR Manager to join their large Engineering business.

The Role:
- To advise Managers and colleagues within their region confidently on company HR policy, procedure and employment law.
- Build relationships with the line managers, provide guidance and coaching on colleague issues as and when they arise.
- Support the implementation of HR policies in line with Company goals
- Work with the HRM to ensure compliance at all times with legal requirements and best practice.
- Work closely with the Director analysing colleague turnover data.
- Supporting the offer and on boarding process in line with Safer Recruitment, including preparing offer paperwork, carrying out preemployment checks, ensuring all necessary paperwork is scanned and filed electronically, working in collaboration with the Line Managers and the Recruitment Manager.
- Guide Managers during the investigation process, supporting them in writing report and acting as a notetaker when necessary.
- Advise and support Managers through the Disciplinary process, preparing invites to hearings and participating in hearings in an HR advisory and notetaking capacity.
- To assist the Directors in complex Employment Relations cases.
- Support Managers when dealing with colleagues with sickness and absence and be involved in any absence review meetings.
- Ensure the efficient and accurate administration of HR stats from nurseries to provide any changes to payroll on a monthly basis.
- To create and maintain Manager and Support Centre Colleague records.
- To arrange and source training for relevant colleagues in conjunction with the training budget.
- To support the administration and day to day queries of new apprentices through the levy.
- To ensure staff details are correct on Connect.
Requirements:
- CIPD Level 5 HR Qualification
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a HR role.
- Good, confident and strong communicator who is approachable.
- Be selfmotivated, proactive, keen and passionate to work within an HR team.
- A high attention to detail is required for producing HR statistics.
- Be able to prioritise your work load effectively and always represent Happy Days positively in accordance with policy and procedure.
- Excellent organisational skills and meets deadlines.
- Demonstrates strong initiative and ability to think on your feet.
- Trustworthiness, honesty and discretion when handling confidential information. Excel
- Intermediate level.
- Comfortable with travel throughout the region when necessary.
- Full UK Driving License

£30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
