We are looking for a part-time (0.8wte - 30 hours a week) CAMHS Band 3 Administrator, working core hours each day.

You would be part of a small, friendly admin team based in Thatcham, with free parking. You will need to be an accurate typist, have previous administrative experience and confidence in using Microsoft packages.

Berkshire CAMHS (Children and Adolescent Mental Health Service) is a multi-disciplinary community-based service that serves a child population of approximately 300,000 across the County.

The teams comprise of child psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, family therapists, nurse practitioners, psychotherapists, art/play therapists, social workers and Primary Mental Health Workers.

Interview Date will be 6th April 202- Greeting families at Reception, who are attending their clinic appointments.

  • You will need to be experienced in diary management and confident in using the full Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • You will also be required to work on your own initiative and demonstrate a willingness to help others as a key member of the team.
  • The ability to build effective relationships, with a flexible approach to work is essential.
  • You will be expected to be able to prioritise work and meet deadlines in order to fulfil the requirements of the post.
  • Carry out daytoday organisation of systems to ensure the smooth running of the administration team.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to deal with sensitive and challenging phone calls.
  • Able to work effectively in a team.
  • Confident in IT skills and using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, with accurate typing skills.
  • Previous experience of working in an office and/or customer care environment.
