INSTALLATION ASSISTANT
£23,000 + additional hours


Great opportunity to join a very well established and successful business - they have been going for over 60 years Therefore, the environment is totally secure.

Due to continued expansion, they are recruiting for an Installation Assistant to join the business.

You will be given support and encouragement and there are really good opportunities for _
progression._ The Installation Assistant is a varied role as you will be going into individual's homes (always with a colleague).

Full training will be provided, however experience of using hand tools and installations would be a real advantage. The role is interesting - no two days are the same and you get to meet new people every day

The main duties for the role of Installation Assistant include:

  • Assisting in the preparatory work and installation of a range of disability access products
  • Assisting in installation of domestic floor lifts, step lifts, wheelchair platform stair lifts, etc.
  • Daily use of hand tools
  • Assisting in service and repair work to the above range of products
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the company vehicle
  • Dealing with any enquiries from clients in their own homes and assisting them in using the products, alongside your colleague
  • Compliance with Health & Safety standards


As you will be travelling to various locations you
must have a clean Driving Licence and there will be some overnight stay (all paid for).

There will also be some early starts (where additional hours will be paid). There will be the opportunity for progression and to train in a relevant NVQ (paid for by the company).
