We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.

The shift pattern is full time nightshift working on an 8-week rota basis.

You will be responsible for the supervision, training and direction of domestic staff with cleaning of the hospital to required standards following cleaning methods and procedures.

The main duties of this post include:

Supervision, training and direction of Domestic staff within the area allocated, making regular visits to premises throughout this area.
Training of staff in conjunction with the Training Manager.
Allocation of schedules of work, checking work schedules and making temporary adjustments as may be required to meet needs of the service.
Ensuring the quality of work from Domestic staff maintains the high standard required in premises.
Ensuring use of correct cleaning methods and control of infection procedures are observed.
