Description

We are looking to recruit Deputy Registrars to assist with our very busy ceremony programme in the Derbyshire Registration District.

In addition to weekend working, some weekday and Bank Holiday working will also be involved but applicants are not expected to be available _every_ weekday or _every _weekend.

Initially, the role will be to assist in registering marriages and civil partnerships at our office Ceremony Rooms and at numerous approved premise venues in Derbyshire with the possibility of future career progression to conducting ceremonies.

This is a varied and interesting role which may also lead to you conducting other types of ceremonies (such as naming ceremonies and renewal of vows ceremonies) and possibly, after very specific additional training, you may also be given the opportunity to register births and deaths together with all associated administrative tasks.
