Associate Lecturer in Computing:


Key Responsibilities:


  • Developing and implementing engaging course materials, incorporating industryrelevant case studies and realworld examples.
  • Assessing student performance, providing constructive feedback, and guiding their academic and professional development.
  • Mentoring and supervising students' projects, dissertations, and research endeavors at both UG and PG levels.
  • Contributing to the ongoing curriculum development and enhancement, ensuring alignment with industry advancements and best practices.
  • Participating in departmental meetings, faculty committees, and relevant professional development activities.

Qualifications and Requirements:


  • A Master's degree at minimum (preferably a PhD) in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cyber Security, AI/ML, Data Science or a closely related discipline.
  • Strong expertise, professional certification and industry and/or academic experience in related areas.
  • Proven teaching or training experience, preferably at higher education level.
  • Uptodate knowledge of industry tools, technologies, and emerging trends.
  • Commitment to staying abreast of advancements in the field and continuously improving teaching methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and inspire students.
  • Excellent teamwork skills.
