Please refer to the attached job description and person specification for full details of responsibilities. To support the Clinical lead and other staff on the duty rota to manage, where appropriate, unplanned work.

To support the Clinical lead, where appropriate, with practical interventions to de-escalate crisis situations To support the duty clinicians to manage the duty inbox to ensure that requests for help are appropriately filed and acted upon To be the second clinician accompanying clinical staff to assess or review patients off base where needed To support the Clinical lead to build more effective pathways with the acute services To participate in duty handover meetings with other members of the duty team To work from the team base alongside the rest of the duty team to provide immediate support to team members and admin staff dealing with unplanned work.

Develop an alliance based upon collaboration and mutual respect and within appropriate and transparent boundaries Help users gain access to resources to include benefits and welfare rights, using internal and external expertise as required Where appropriate help to identify early signs of relapse by monitoring the users progress, level of functioning and mental state and alert the appropriate staff involved in the individuals care Provide simple psychological interventions as required under the supervision of an appropriately qualified clinician.

Participate in regular planning and review meetings with the clinician supervising pieces of work and maintain quality and management of clinical work within the supervision process (pieces of work may be supervised by more than supervisor.
