An opportunity has arisen for an I.T. Support Analyst to support the BRUSH IT Strategy within the Service Delivery and Cyber Security areas.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Provide support relating to incidents raised by users
  • Undertake technical trouble shooting
  • Perform remote troubleshooting for end users
  • Provide accurate information on IT products and services
  • Assist in the creation of training manuals
  • Documentation of IT Processes and Policies
  • Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures
  • Keep up to date with the latest security and technology developments
  • Assist in the investigation of security alerts and provide incident response
  • Monitor identity and access management, including monitoring for abuse of permissions by authorised system users
  • Generate reports for both technical and nontechnical staff and stakeholders
  • Maintain an information security risk register and assist with internal and external audits relating to information security
  • Assist with the creation, maintenance and delivery of cyber security awareness training for colleagues

Relevant degree or equivalent

Skills & Experience:

  • End User Support
  • Cyber/information/network security
  • Computer science
  • MS Azure/Cloud
  • Hybrid On-Prem/Cloud Infrastructure
  • Computing and Information Systems
  • Software/Electrical/Network engineering
  • Experience with hybrid environments including onpremises and cloud services
  • Experience of documenting processes, standard operating procedures & work instructions
  • Knowledge and understanding of IT Strategy and infrastructure, Information Management and Governance and IT Security
