A varied role drawing upon a range of administrative skills.

This temporary role is covering whilst the client recruits permanently and could therefore lead to a temp to perm post.

Full time or part time hours in Leeds city centre.

Experience for the temp role will ideally lean towards finance/accounts but they are also open to someone who can be developed in the role, with more admin related experience.


Job Profile:

As a Finance and Project Administrator you will provide essential finance and project administration support to the wider team.


Responsibilities:


These will include:

Finance

  • Raising and recording sales invoices
  • Recording cash receipts
  • Credit control
  • Processing purchase invoices and making payments
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Preparing weekly bank reconciliations
  • Processing credit card payments
  • Checking and processing staff expense claims
  • Keeping Petty Cash records up to date
  • Other bookkeeping/accounting tasks as appropriate

General admin and project support

  • Providing support and assistance in the administration of projects
  • Creating summaries, resources, paperwork, and briefing packs for projects
  • Editing digital/recorded resources
  • Ordering equipment or resources needed for events
  • Booking hotels and transport for members of the team where required
  • Data input of the results of feedback into the database
  • Provide support, extract data, and complete development work on a survey system

Experience, skills set and/or qualifications required:

  • Experience is dependent on it being temporary or temp to perm/permanent. The client is happy to consider someone with demonstrable admin experience and some form of finance/accounts but this does not have to have been in an official capacity
  • some help with invoicing etc in a previous role could transfer across
  • Full time hours or school hours considered
  • A good problem solver
  • Someone happy working in a diverse role

Hours:8am-4pm Monday to Friday


Salary:
The permanent salary is for someone they can develop into the role and pays £21570 however the temporary role could offer a higher pay rate for someone with good finance experience
