We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and ambitious colleague to lead our Science Department and work with our Extended Leadership team.

The role will involve supporting us with our whole-school phase of rapid improvement.

We are looking for someone who:

  • the ability to lead and be capable of building good working relationships with staff, students and parents/carers
- is passionate about science and has the ability to inspire students
- can demonstrate excellent teaching and classroom management skills
- has the ability to build good relationships with all students and colleagues
- has a commitment to developing the Science curriculum.
- can promote and maintain the highest standards in all aspects of the work in the school

- an understanding of the importance of quality assurance
- an understanding that the progress of every child in science matters.
