As a Barclays Executive Assistant, you will be a part of Sustainable Finance CIB (Corporate & Investment Bank) department, providing secretarial and administrative assistance to the Global Head of Sustainable Finance CIB, including the day-to-day running of the office.

We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in.
What
will you be doing?:
- Managing complex calendars and coordinating logistics of both internal and external meetings
- Screening incoming calls and determine the level of priority, while using caution with information
- Arranging and coordinating complicated domestic and international travel, including all compliance related approvals
- Working closely with the Business Manager, Global Sustainable Finance CIB on relevant projects and in the management of the office
- Processing invoices and T&E expense claims, ensuring all policies are followed and items are processed within provided guidelines
- Leading and coordinating on ad hoc projects, incl. miscellaneous errands and requests, assisting in editing spreadsheets and presentations for client meetings
What we're looking for:
- Ability to plan, prioritise and organise own workload; accustomed to working to tight deadlines under pressure
- Tactful and good judgment in confidential situations; proven experience interacting with senior management
- Proactive, with the ability to think ahead; problem solver who thinks laterally to resolve situations and find the right answers
- Ability to build solid relationships with colleagues across the bank; persuasive when required
Skills that will help you in the role:
- Relevant EA experience, ideally assisting at the Managing Director level
- Financial institution experience
- Interest in Sustainable Finance and appetite to understand/learn about the business which will assist in forming judgement and taking decisions in the role

In the heart of Canary Wharf, our headquarters at Churchill Place boasts onsite amenities such as; a gym, staff restaurant and deli bar, and is easily accessible by tube and bus links.
With a population of around 5000 staff the atmosphere is second to none with a real buzz being created around the offices within.
