  • Working) Supervisor at Hinkley Point C.


As a Stores and Compound Supervisor, you will provide the MEH Alliance Stores, Compounds and BAA team with non-working supervision for up to 8 Working Supervisors and 50 operatives.

You will ensure that your teams are put to work correctly and daily tasks are clearly communicated to comply with safety and quality.

You will play a key role in Stores and Compounds teams ensuring that correct equipment is available and teams are following correct health, safety, environmental and quality protocols.

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining KPI's, safe system of work, DABs and day notes.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Previous Supervisory Experience
  • Excellent IT/ MS office skills
  • Preparation and presentation of key reports and documents.
  • Being able to deliver essential training and mentor staff
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrate reliability including the ability to deliver high standards of both punctuality and attendance with planning and short notice appointments.
  • Ability to build and develop a team
  • Able to deal calmly and confidently with all demands from construction and Client.
  • Demonstrable commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Experience in reporting Observations and Near misses
  • Commitment to the HPC project and MEH Alliance Logistics work.
  • CITB certificate (Managers and Professional standards)
  • CSCS Card Manager Level (Black)
  • IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent
  • Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)
  • Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Construction Site Management (or working towards)
  • Competency & Familiarisation training

Site Specific Information

  • You must be able to provide a 3year work/ unemployment/ education history required for vetting process in line with HPC protocols.
  • You must be able to obtain the HPC pass.
  • The site is located remotely and a bus journey of 45 minutes each way is required to gain access.
