£10.20 per hour
A leading Potteries-based specialist construction company is recruiting for a Stores Person.

This company fabricates it's own range of products and has a stores function within their fabrication facility which manages material flow for production and projects.

The Stores Person position is a varied role to ensure that optimum stock levels are maintained and that materials and parts are ordered and prepared as necessary.

The main areas of responsibility for the Stores Person role include:

Consulting with the Purchasing, Production and Projects teams to ensure that all materials and components are kept to the minimum optimal level
Maintaining stock levels through weekly stock takes and completing relevant paperwork / running reports
Booking in materials received using electronic stock management system, checking them against the delivery notes and schedules
Checking that the colours, quantities and quality adhere to the company quality policy
Rasing reports when issues arise
Picking, Labelling and moving components and materials for use in production
Ensuring all components and materials are allocated to the correct project
Ensuring returns paperwork is completed for all materials returned to suppliers
