OVO is looking for an Insurance Lead who will be responsible for establishing the business strategy for insurance business, driving relationships with Insurance Firms and/or Brokerages to develop dedicated products for OVO, leading end-to-end product development, commercial agreements, and to ensure business profitability and growth.

You Will

  • Leads end to end insurance OVO and Grab product development; implementing new insurance/protection products, develops project scope, deliverables, and timelines, identifies risks, oversees execution of the projects and escalates issues in a timely manner to superior and other relevant managers.
  • Define end to end processes for new insurance/protection products, develop new insurance/protection product concepts, product design and feature.
  • Cooperates with the Business Planning Team to define the right pricing for new insurance/protection products and review it from time to time.
  • Provides briefs to Marketing Team to prepare campaign wording, BTL promotion materials, online advertisement and in some case ATL campaigns.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to management: insurance penetration, misselling, premium, SLAs, etc.
  • Communicate strategies and objectives with relevant departments and colleagues.
  • Conduct market research and analyze market conditions, recent developments in the market from offline, online sources, and professional networks.

What You Need

  • Bachelor's Degree with business, technology, or operational focus or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in the insurance industry.
  • Has developed and launched a consumer product from zero to a product with a consumer awareness award winning one.
  • Having exposure/knowledge/experience in the digital insurance business is an added value.
  • Project management skills with ability to manage multiple deliverables.
  • Experience with project and change management approaches and tools.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills, strong analytical skills, decision making and problem solving abilities.
