Senior Strategic Projects Manager Vacancy closes 15th January 2023 A bit about the role... Homes England, the national housing agency, plays a central role in tackling the housing, regeneration and place-making challenges the country faces.


The Market's Partners and Places (MPP) directorate plays a leading role in driving Homes England's mission, objectives, business development and place-focussed activity.

We use our knowledge to focus our expertise and forge ambitious local partnerships thatsolve the most complex placemaking issues and leverage commercial, economic and social benefits to deliver our housing and regeneration targets.


MPP has four partner-facing teams which lead Homes England's business development and place-focussed activities, acting as the front door to partners to access Homes England skills and products and shape conversations and solutions with places.

We work withexperts across Homes England, the market and Government to lead the development of agency-wide strategies that support housing and regeneration.

We lead multi-functional teams to deliver significant opportunities and cross-agency projects focusing on our strategicpriorities.

MPP has a mixed portfolio of projects, such as Bristol Temple Meads, Garden Communities and Strategic Place Partnerships, providingflexibility and supporting colleagues to explore their own interests and areas of expertise.


A bit about you This is a key role within Homes England's Markets, Partners and Places (MPP) team. with a remit to lead on, and provide support to, large-scale, complex and innovative projects. MPP is a multidisciplinary team with a remit to identify, lead on, and providesupport to, large-scale, complex and innovative projects that require multiple interventions, cross-government and cross­ discipline working. The team will work closely with Homes England colleagues and other Government Departments to provide a bridge betweenpolicy, strategy and delivery. By forming a clear understanding of the strategic context and priorities surrounding a particular project at the pre­ development stage; and by drawing on expertise and relationships, the team will develop robust, large-scalehousing strategies that will drive market change and unlock delivery.


To support the team, we are looking for a senior manager to provide strategic and expert advice in the field across a range of property related issues including large-scale infrastructure and development, delivery strategies, land assembly, delivery modelsand funding mechanisms.


Familiarity with the business case process and experience in engaging with government departments on major strategic projects will also be valued.
