What you will do:
Ensure effective and efficient management, integration and continuous improvement of Supply Chain management processes and technologies from vendors through to customers and joint venture partners.-
Responsible for logistics planning and forecasting needs for products and services as well as distribution plans.-
Accountable for the logistics, warehousing and storage of products.-
Import/export roles with responsibility for the efficient and economical movement of goods (e.g., materials, products, equipment) in accordance with organizational policies and in compliance with relevant local, country and international customs laws and processes.-
To liaise with the SIOP on matters relating to planning and movement of materials and goods.-
To understand the value stream capacity plan and model the effects of future demand.-
To participate in meetings with suppliers and to promote close collaborative working relationships with suppliers.-
Provide weekly backorder updates to the Supply Chain Manager & wider leadership team-
Manage the holiday payroll system for the team and ensure holiday requests are processed in accordance with company policies-
Act as a deputy where necessary for the Supply Chain Manager
Who you are:
Use of computer systems including MRP, MPS, SAP and Excel (Desirable)-
MCIPS experience-
Essential Previous Experience: Experience in a similar role-
Use of computerized inventory/purchasing/stores systems.-
Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
