Financial Accountant required to work within a small prestigious, luxury travel group. This role will involve the set up of new systems and the implementation of new software.

You will be working for 3 separate small companies within the Group so ideallylooking for someone who has experience with a similar setup.

The current Financial Accountant is retiring from the business so this is a new opportunity for an experienced Accountant /Finance Manager with the following skills:

Group Accountant - Key Responsibilities: Manage and support local accountants working throughout the group

  • Understand and advise on efficient tax strategies.
  • Implement transfer pricing calculations and support international tax structure compliance
  • Manage the corporation tax compliance process for all group companies
  • Provide monthly consolidated management accounts
  • Prepare annual and longer
- term consolidated group budgets.

  • Prepare consolidated cashflow forecasts to ensure cash is managed efficient and effectively and manage working capital.
  • Source and implement new accounting software for the group which also provides correct regulatory compliance for each group entity.
  • Work with the Directors on various adhoc improvement projects;
  • Maintain statutory registers and tax authorities reporting requirements;
  • Financial reporting and creating financial statements for the Group
  • Responsible for managing any external audit;
Perform all Local Accountant responsibilities in Group Accountants entity as listed below.

Local Accountant - Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify, post, allocate and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
  • Treasury and bank account control and reconciliation.
  • Monitoring and recording business expenses ensuring correct client recharge.
  • Analyse financial transactions and prepare monthly management accounts for the Group Accountant.
  • Prepare annual and rolling budgets.
  • VAT quarterly returns.
  • Monthly payroll and annual payroll returns.
  • Preparation of annual draft financial accounts and liaising with our auditors.


Ideally we are looking for someone who has accounting experience working in global currencies managing various accounting entities with excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Professional qualificationsCIMA/ACCA /ACA qualified or European equivalent.


This opportunity is full time and being offered as hybrid with one day a week required in their offices near to Haywards Heath, West Sussex.
