Dolphin is a world leader in assistive technology for blind, partially sighted and dyslexic people with a distribution channel in over forty countries.

We are looking to recruit an apprentice to join our Technical Support team in delivering first rate service and troubleshooting technical incidents.

This apprenticeship is an ideal start to your career in Digital Support.

You will work as part of a team delivering a first class, professional customer service in an office based IT Support position.


Types of responsibilities you will be tasked with include:

  • Diagnose hardware and software faults
  • Create and maintain training documentation
  • Ensuring customer feedback is escalated to relevant teams and departments
  • Product testing
Entry requirements

Minimum of 4 X GCSE'S grace A-C including English and Maths

Training to be provided


Digital Support Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard:

You will be required to demonstrate through the standard that you meet all competencies and behaviours, which will lead to the achievement of the qualification.

These block weeks will take place in virtual classrooms.


You will have a designated mentor in the workplace to support your learning and at the end of programme will be assessed via an external assessment body.

This is a Level 3 qualification.


Knowledge modules will include:


  • Digital Technologies
  • Data Management and Information Systems
  • Security
  • Applications Technicians (or) Service Technicians
