Description
Jackson Hogg are delighted to be working with a well-established, expanding business based in Gateshead on the appointment of a Finance Assistant.
Responsibilities:
- Undertake regular inputting of all invoices to the Company's SAGE financial system to include matching invoices to existing purchase orders.
- Prepare payments for subcontractors via either BACS or cheque in readiness for final approval.
- Respond to direct telephone enquiries from subcontractors / suppliers relating to payments made, due or outstanding.
- Reconcile statements from suppliers to ensure that outstanding payments can be identified and any necessary action taken.
- Processing of payroll (weekly) through timesheet allocation analysis
- Monthly expenses interrogation, review and processing
- Experience working in a similar role within a finance department
