Jackson Hogg are delighted to be working with a well-established, expanding business based in Gateshead on the appointment of a Finance Assistant.


Responsibilities:


  • Undertake regular inputting of all invoices to the Company's SAGE financial system to include matching invoices to existing purchase orders.
  • Prepare payments for subcontractors via either BACS or cheque in readiness for final approval.
  • Respond to direct telephone enquiries from subcontractors / suppliers relating to payments made, due or outstanding.
  • Reconcile statements from suppliers to ensure that outstanding payments can be identified and any necessary action taken.
  • Processing of payroll (weekly) through timesheet allocation analysis
  • Monthly expenses interrogation, review and processing
Experience

  • Experience working in a similar role within a finance department

From £23,000.00 per year
