  • Northgate is a vibrant, multicultural primary school situated very close to Crawley town centre. We are a growing school with 660 children on roll currently including a Specialist Support Centre (SSC) for children with hearing impairment and a further 60place maintained Nursery.
  • We are looking to appoint an ELSA to become part of our highly successful Inclusion team.
  • We need someone with:
Enthusiasm about making a difference to young children's lives
Good communication skills and is a team player
A hard-working, positive, 'can do' attitude to school life
The ability to work with those children who are most vulnerable
An understanding of trauma-informed practice.

  • Regular supervision for a trained ELSA through ELSA support networks.
  • Working hours are: 5 days per week; pm; 32.5term time only. The role also includes lunchtime supervision responsibilities.
