Are you a caring and empathetic person who wants to make a difference to others? Are you looking for a role that offers security, great benefits, and a supportive team environment? Then we can provide the support and training you need to become a Night Care Worker for CrossReach.

This is a non sleeping role where you will support our most vulnerable people through the night. As this is a Relief role you can work the nights most suitable for you.

We are one of Scotland's largest social care charities, offering care to people in need of a helping hand, supporting them to live life to the full whatever their circumstances.

Our team comes from all walks of life. Some have worked in care all their lives, others join us from completely unrelated jobs or straight from school.

So, if you have no experience in care, we can support you to kickstart your career in care as part of a supportive like-minded team, who are there for each other as well as the people in their care.

As a relief member of staff, you will have the flexibility to work as and when you want, with as few or as many shifts as you are able.

This is a great way to achieve a work life balance, fitting work in around your other commitments.

We offer funding and support for you to gain your SVQ professional qualifications to ensure that you are always learning and developing and a range of great benefits including health cash plan, company pension and retail discounts.

As we do our work in Christ's name the job you have applied for requires you to have a Christian faith and be able to work within and uphold our Christian Ethos.

This is an Occupational Requirement under Part 1 of Schedule 9 to the Equality Act 2010.

This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks.

You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.

We have a legal obligation to ensure that it does not employ any worker who has not been granted the relevant permission to work in the UK.

This permission is without exception granted by UK Visas and Immigrations. We are required to check the entitlement to work in the UK of all prospective employees, regardless of nationality or job category
