Role Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Site Security Manager to join our passionate and driven Security team based at our client's site in Welwyn Garden City.

The site security manager is responsible for working closely with our client and site facilities teams to ensure consistently high performance.

Your role will include:

Direct management of 2530 Security personnel operating from 4 Locations.
Recruitment / Scheduling of all employees to fulfil contractual obligations
Performance Management of the site security team
Investigations
Development of the security team to maintain high levels of performance
Organising and supporting the security operation during site events
Maintaining Client/Company relationships

Due the multi-site nature of the role, a UK driving licence is required.
A company pool vehicle is located onsite and can be used for travel between locations.
Applicants require a minimum of 2-years experience managing/supervising multi-site operations and multi-staff security teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Protect company property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment.
Monitor and authorise entrance and departure of employees, visitors and delivery persons ensuring maintenance of security on the site.
Respond promptly to any site alarms and investigate disturbances where required and record, log and escalate actions as appropriate.
Develop safety plans for the site/building reporting findings to Operations Manager.
Inspect security system equipment to ensure no tampering and complete site safety patrols as instructed.

About You:

Experience working in a security management role.
Knowledge and understanding of Security compliance.
Experience in managing and leading multiperson security teams over multiple sites.
Excellent IT skills (Excel, Outlook/Calendar, Word etc.) are essential.
Health & Safety management & risk assessment awareness
