An established and growing investment firm is seeking a new Head of Facilities and Operations. This key role will directly report to the COO and will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of offices throughout the UK.
RESPONSIBILITIES
This dynamic Facilities role offers the opportunity to engage in various projects across all offices under your supervision. Key duties include:
- Supervising a team of 2 facilities professionals
- Handling daily maintenance of the London office
- Managing vendor relationships
- Supporting office fitouts in London and new locations across the UK
- Overseeing leases within your designated region
- Hands-on approach to ensure smooth office functionality
- Project management for tasks such as scouting new office spaces, sourcing suppliers, and supporting team transitions
QUALIFICATIONS
In order to thrive in this role, candidates should possess solid experience in a similar Facilities position, excel at problem-solving, and manage multiple demands concurrently.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Facilities Manager, Office Manager, or Workplace Manager with a focus on facilities
- Background in a corporate setting, preferably in financial services
- Team management experience
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Quick thinking and accountability for issue resolution
- Strong stakeholder communication skills and adaptability to enhance customer experience
- Proficient problem-solving abilities
