Head of Facilities and Operations

City of London

Permanent Position

Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 plus benefits and bonus

An established and growing investment firm is seeking a new Head of Facilities and Operations. This key role will directly report to the COO and will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of offices throughout the UK.

RESPONSIBILITIES
This dynamic Facilities role offers the opportunity to engage in various projects across all offices under your supervision. Key duties include:

Supervising a team of 2 facilities professionals
Handling daily maintenance of the London office
Managing vendor relationships
Supporting office fitouts in London and new locations across the UK
Overseeing leases within your designated region
Hands-on approach to ensure smooth office functionality
Project management for tasks such as scouting new office spaces, sourcing suppliers, and supporting team transitions

QUALIFICATIONS

In order to thrive in this role, candidates should possess solid experience in a similar Facilities position, excel at problem-solving, and manage multiple demands concurrently.

Key Requirements:

Proven experience as a Facilities Manager, Office Manager, or Workplace Manager with a focus on facilities
Background in a corporate setting, preferably in financial services
Team management experience
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Quick thinking and accountability for issue resolution
Strong stakeholder communication skills and adaptability to enhance customer experience
Proficient problem-solving abilities
