Contract type:
Permanent, Monday - Friday Hours Per Week

You will have responsibility of leading the financial management including forecasting and reporting for the business and wider group while supporting the senior leadership team with strategic decision making.


Other responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the finance and admin team as a whole and as individuals, through monitoring, motivating and development.
  • Manage the annual budgeting process to produce annual budgets, and to produce regular updated forecasts for management to effectively run the business
  • Ensure the management accounts are comprehensive, relevant to business need and produced to deadlines
  • Compile analysis of sales information to highlight trends and anomalies, in order to support strategic decision making
  • Ensure that all monthly reporting requirements from the AB Agri central finance are submitted accurately and within deadline
  • Produce year end file including the tax pack & liaise with external auditors
  • Ensure the cash is managed to ensure maximum return
  • Support with strategy and execution which will help grow the business and maintain/grow margins
To be successful in this role we are looking for the following:

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified
  • Previous experience of line management with ability to support and develop a small team
  • Experienced gained in a manufacturing environment (Desirable)
  • Previous experience of using SAGE accounting system
  • Have a passion about pets with an interest in the Equine Industry and understanding of the equestrian market
