Our client, a customs services provider with a proven track record of success, are going through a period of exponential growth and now seek to recruit an experienced Customs Declarant to join their growing team.

You will bring a practiced understanding of import & export customs processes by both ocean and road - import & export.


Familiar daily tasks will include:

  • Preparation and control of Import and Export customs documentation ensuring all requirements are in accordance with HMRC regulations.
  • Good knowledge of HMRC Tariffs for a diverse range of product types
  • Submitting import and export declarations
  • Checking data provided before completing declarations, i.e EORI number, commodity codes CPC codes and licence requirements
  • Establishing and maintaining good collaborative relationship with the customs teams and customers
  • Knowledge and daily use of CDS, Destin8 and CNS systems.
