  • Applicants are sought for W6 Police researcher within the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) based in Wat Tyler House, Swindon or Wiltshire or County Hall, Trowbridge.
The post currently carries 37 variable hours a week between Monday to Friday. This is seen as an ideal opportunity to gain multi-agency partnership experience within a police team. There is an expectation of a degree of office working alongside agile working.


This is an opportunity to be part of a multi-agency team working to share information in a timely manner, responding quickly to safeguarding concerns to protect children and adults at risk from significant harm.

You will be providing proportionate and effective research of Police information for use at multi agency strategy discussions and in response to external agency enquiries.

Applicants will need to be highly motivated and must be able to demonstrate personal responsibility to deliver high standards of professional practice with an essential knowledge of child protection procedures.

The successful applicants will be line managed within the Public Protection Department reporting structure.

Salary :
£27,342 - £28,161 (pro-rata) Per annum
