From £21k**Tezlom are looking to recruit a behavioural support worker for a well-established home based in Hillingdon, This home is for young adults with a range of learning difficulties such as Autism from mild to severe.


Responsibilities:


  • To monitor and take accurate data daily.
  • Must assist with selfhelp skills including personal care and hygiene needs. (e.g., toileting, nappy changing, feeding, bathing, nail cutting, and taking medication)
  • To ensure a programme materials are organised and accessible.
  • Attend mandatory training, team meetings and take part in selfdirected elearning modules.
  • Promote safeguarding and wellbeing for service users to the highest standard.
  • To implement restrictive techniques per service users positive handling plan as required.
  • Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends.
  • Other duties requested by your manager.

Requirements:


  • 1 year experience with special needs and learning difficulties.
  • Experience in managing challenging behaviours.
  • Experience of supporting individuals (children and young people) with complex needs

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Freelance

Part-time hours: 35 per week


Salary:
£22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year

  • 12 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
