Senior Operator (Maltings)

£17.50 per hour, 40 hour a week, constant day shift

If you have Manufacturing/machinery experience and you're up for working on a beautiful Scottish Island until the summer of next year, this job is for you

The role is based on the stunning Isle of Islay in the Inner Hebrides, which is famous for whisky, beautiful sandy beaches and wonderful wildlife, amongst other things.

We have an opportunity for an immediate start, working as a Senior Operator (Maltings).

This is a day shift role paying up to £17.50 per hour on a contract through to July 2024.

40 hours per week

Shift pattern:
Monday-Thursday 8am to 5pm, Friday 8am to 2pm

About you:

We're looking for someone with a technical background who can work well within a team as well as the ability to make effective decisions and thrive in situations where they can solve problems.

You'll need to be comfortable working with machinery or come from a manufacturing background.

Full training will be provided, and you'll require the drive to make a positive difference to manufacturing excellence and excellent communication skills with both internal and external partners.

You will play a pivotal running in the daytoday running of the Maltings.
You'll be responsible for ensuring compliance checks across your working area and will play a key part of how this is monitored and improved.
You will control and monitor onsite processes to maximise our performance utilising your knowledge and experience.
Health and safety compliance is key, and you'll be at the forefront of making sure this is monitored and improved alongside other KPI's and targets.
