Description

We seek an experienced & self-directed Emergency Practitioner with a passion and commitment to the care they deliver & who hold patient experience and care at the heart of their practice and share our organisational values.

You will need to be motivated and enthusiastic in your role & looking for an opportunity to join our highly skilled team of autonomous Emergency Practitioners who deliver evidence -based clinical care in our Practitioner Led Unit.


Cirencester Hospital has a dedicated minor injury & illness unit (MIiU) open 7 days a week & the post holder will be required to work a full range of shifts.

We are open hrs, pre-covid the unit was open from 08:00-23:00hrs. This is under constant review and will be adjusted throughout our covid-recovery process.

Essential requirements for this role,

  • Relevant Professional Registration & clinical experience in MIiU / ED
  • Emergency Practitioner qualification


As a member of the Gloucestershire NHS, the unit offers a diverse range of training opportunities and is committed to personal as well as service development.

We also offer the opportunity of training with a preceptor to support the transition induction period and ongoing professional development.
