We have an exciting opportunity for a National Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Lead to join People Services, working 37.5 hours a week.

Salary:
£43,778.00 per annum

The Role
As the National EDI Lead you will be:
- Providing expertise, advice and insight on all VS EDI matters
- Supporting operational, Service Design and Business Development teams to develop and promote services that are accessible and inclusive to all
- Assisting the Assistant Director-People with the development and delivery of an EDI strategy and action plan aligned to organisational objectives
- Overseeing activities within the EDI networks, promoting and supporting their growth
About You
As National Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Lead, you will have a current working knowledge of equality legislation, EDI best practice and issues.
You will also have:
- Experience of developing effective working relationships with colleagues and external partners
- The ability to identify issues affecting the organisation and ensure senior colleagues are provided timely and accurate advice and kept fully informed of relevant issues
- Experience of writing reports, analysing data and confident presentation skills
