National Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Lead

We have an exciting opportunity for a National Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Lead to join People Services, working 37.5 hours a week.

This role is home based (within England and Wales) with some national travel.

Salary:
£43,778.00 per annum

The Role

As the National EDI Lead you will be:

Providing expertise, advice and insight on all VS EDI matters
Supporting operational, Service Design and Business Development teams to develop and promote services that are accessible and inclusive to all
Assisting the Assistant Director-People with the development and delivery of an EDI strategy and action plan aligned to organisational objectives
Overseeing activities within the EDI networks, promoting and supporting their growth

About You

As National Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Lead, you will have a current working knowledge of equality legislation, EDI best practice and issues.

You will also have:

Experience of developing effective working relationships with colleagues and external partners
The ability to identify issues affecting the organisation and ensure senior colleagues are provided timely and accurate advice and kept fully informed of relevant issues
Experience of writing reports, analysing data and confident presentation skills

Experience of working in an EDI role would be advantageous.
