Job description
The role involves working with pupils on a 1 to 1 basis or a small group supporting their learning, encouraging confidence, independence, and positive behaviour.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing educational programs and activities for students
- Provide support to students with special needs, including those with autism or other learning disabilities
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Assist with classroom management and behaviour management strategies
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to the lead teacher and parents/guardians
- Assist with maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment
Skills:
- Strong ability to educate and work with children, particularly those with special needs
- Experience in toddler care or special education is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents/guardians, and other staff members
- Patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude towards children
- Ability to adapt to different learning styles and individual needs of students

£85.00-£90.00 per day
