This role sits within the London office of one of the world's largest quantitative trading firms with a unique focus on technology and collaborative problem-solving, trading a wide range of financial products.

They're seeking an experienced Network Engineer who wants to build, maintain and scale the network infrastructure that supports all traffic profiles from trading to internet connectivity.

Collaborating globally across the business, you'll be working on cross-teamdesign efforts such as new data centers & colocations, and WAN routing optimisation.

To be successful in this role, you will have outstanding communication skills in English and attention to detail, with a background in keeping thorough records and documentation.

Requirements:

Solid experience operating and deploying network infrastructure, including groundup network design
Routing and network protocols experience (e.g. OSPF, BGP, PIM-SM)
Experience troubleshooting transport protocols (e.g. TCP/UDP)
Good Linux skills and proficiency in a programming language
Always looking for ways to automate workflow for increased efficiency
Flexible in your approach with capacity to switch context and organise your workload
