This role will predominantly be site based due to the requirement to be partnering closely with the manufacturing leadership team.


The Role;

We are looking for an experienced and forward thinking Senior HR Business Partner to join this great team, working closely with the Head of HR and supporting two manufacturing sites in the North.

The Senior HR Business Partner will be a strategic partner tothe leadership teams, supporting ongoing change across the supply chain division and driving strong focus on leadership and high performance standards.

The Senior HR Business Partner will manage the relationships with the Trade Unions and support the ongoingnegotiations.
Other key elements of the role include;

  • Partnering with the business, developing people plans to support the business growth strategy
  • Providing expert HR advice and guidance, operating as a trusted member of the leadership team on all people related activities
  • Working closely with the wider people team on strategic initiatives relating to reward, L&D and talent attraction
  • Driving a high performance culture and ensuring consistency across the business
  • Lead and embed all business change activities
  • Continuous improvement of HR processes and ways of working, ensuring they further enhance employee engagement and experience

This role offers flexibility however it is anticipated that they will split their time between the manufacturing sites with 1 day at home.

  • You will be proactive in your approach and have a future focused mindset that will enable further modernisation across the manufacturing sites.
  • You will have strong experience gained within a trade unionised environment and will be an effective negotiator.
  • You will be an effective communicator and a strong influencer and enjoy working in a highly commercial and fast paced organisation.
