An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as part of a dynamic, evolving team within Medical Equipment Libraries at the Northern Care Alliance NHS Group in the role ofMedical Equipment Library Officer.


Possessing excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills, you must be able to work autonomously and as part of our team.

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to rotate between the hospitals and existing equipment libraries.


You will be responsible for (but not limited to) the delivery, retrieval and cleaning of medical devices from the medical equipment library on an operational level.


You will provide guidance to nursing and other staff in use of medical devices and promote the use of the medical equipment library across the organisation.


You shall participate in the performance of the library to ensure the medical equipment library service functions effectively to deliver the required service to clinical areas.

You should have strong influencing and negotiation skills and should have a good knowledge of medical devices.

Please note, this is not a medical engineering post.
