You will primarily be supporting our Beverages business.

This is an exciting role, where you will work closely with our well-known retail and foodservice Nestlé coffee brands including Nescafé and Starbucks Out Of Home.

A day in the life of a Regulatory Affairs Specialist

You'll play a pivotal role in bringing our products to the market and supporting the marketing and development teams on exciting product launches.

You will help ensure all our products are compliant against UK & Irish regulations.

You'll also:

  • Support teams to achieve compliant, responsible and accurate communications (e.g. advertising, web content) that are also engaging and compelling.
  • Help answer consumer queries.
  • Contribute as a key member of local Innovation & Renovation projects.
  • Advise on import and export regulatory requirements.
  • Help train and boost colleague understanding of regulatory requirements/Nestlé policy and how these relate to their daytoday roles.

What will make you successful?
To be successful in this role you will ideally have experience working in Regulatory Affairs within the food industry. Experience of working in a coffee or other hot beverages category would be beneficial. You'll be self-sufficient and results-focused with great analytical skills.

Other key attributes include:

  • Ideally educated to degree level in a scientific discipline or equivalent.
  • You'll also have great communication skills that enable you to challenge and influence across all levels whilst being able to develop positive stakeholder relationships.
  • Understand how your decisions impact the wider business strategy.
  • Being proactive and challenging in order to arrive at a resolution is a must, as is having a real desire to get to the heart of issues that may arise.
  • Ability to be flexible when prioritising work in an environment that will often be ambiguous and sometimes pressured.
  • You will have the ability to learn fast.
  • Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset & commitment to optimising processes.
  • Above all, you must have a true passion for compliance.

What you need to know

What can we offer in return? Great benefits you'd expect from a business the size of Nestlé - in the shape of a competitive salary and benefits package, bonus scheme, flexible working scheme, 25 days holiday plus statutory holidays plus flex leave, pension scheme and a real focus on personal development and growth.
