Our amazing client based in Ealing are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join them.

Responsibilities:


  • Work closely with the class teacher and other support staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs.
  • Provide oneonone support or small group assistance to students with a variety of learning needs.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes the social and emotional development of all students.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to assess students' progress and adjust support strategies accordingly.
  • Assist in the implementation of behavior management strategies and interventions.
  • Support students during academic and nonacademic activities, ensuring their full participation and engagement.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience working as a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant is desirable( but not essential).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with students with special educational needs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational setting.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
