Job Description - SDR Team Lead
This company is looking for outstanding professionals who are money motivated and hungry for a successful career in sales.


On a day-to-day basis, you'll be engaging exclusively with the most senior and innovative minds within the HR sphere, a truly fascinating group whose purpose is to drive business performance and growth.

You'll need to build strong relationships with the company's existing community but, most importantly, bring plenty of fresh faces to its world-class events in London and Geneva.


Key responsibilities - SDR Team Lead
In this Business Development Manager role, you will be responsible for:

  • Sourcing and generation of new leads
  • Researching and identifying industry challenges and trends in the HR and People Profession
  • Market research to identify new contacts to maintain and develop the marketleading database you will be working from
  • Research and collate trading information on each company we contact
  • Contacting clients and new business leads by phone to sell and secure new business contracts
  • Achieving monthly and quarterly targets
  • Managing client communications leading up to each event
  • Progressing your knowledge of, and relationships with, each market you are personally responsible for to increase yearonyear attendance and identify new event opportunities
  • Working with the Delegate Acquisition, Production, Marketing and Event Management teams on the continuous improvement of our events
  • Training, Coaching and Developing Sales Executives
  • Getting involved in client negotiation and helping Sales Executives to get deals over the line
  • Conducting Staff Appraisals
  • Conducting weekly staff assessments/reviews
  • Monitoring, Driving and Reporting on staff KPIs

Job requirements - SDR Team Lead

A minimum of 4 years successful sales track record,
following a structured sales process:


  • Proven track record of performing to and exceeding revenue targets:

Experience in leading a sales team:

  • Ability to connect with senior, successful business leaders and owners
  • Fluent, businesslevel English, both verbal and written required
  • Confident, motivated and target driven
  • Exceptional Man-Management/People Skills
  • Ability to have consultative conversations, ask questions and "actively listen"
  • Ability to present concepts clearly and persuasively
  • Enthusiasm and energy to work both individually and as part of a team
  • A strong work ethic with the passion and drive to learn and progress
  • Customer and quality focused, driven to achieve high standards of professionalism
