One of the UK's most inspiring and best-known faith-based organisations is looking for an Employment Support Apprentice (ESA) to join our Employment Services Team.

The Salvation Army's Employment Plus service offers tailored support to help people become job-ready. Our aim is to help job seekers to get a job and stay in work.


As an ESA you will work in a supported learning environment to develop the skills and knowledge which will assist you to complete your Level 2 qualification in Business Administration and secure employment to progress in your future career.

You will undertake a programme of work to develop practical skills, knowledge and experience of the Employability Support.

You will also assist in the development and delivery of support which promotes client choice, control and addresses client support needs.


Whilst the role will be based in our Wrexham and Rhyl centre, it will assist operations across the Wales and South West region of Employment Plus.


  • An ability and willingness to follow instruction and learn new tasks
  • Not qualified already to Business Admin Level
  • A desire to work with those disadvantaged by unemployment
