Material Coordinator - Full Time - Netherley, United Kingdom

Sulzer UK are looking for a Material Coordinator to join and strengthen the team at Alba Power in Scotland.

Alba Power have an award-winning and global team that is passionate about delivering to our global customers. We are the leading Independent Service Provider for overhauling ex-Rolls Royce Aeroderivative Gas Turbines.

This is great opportunity to support the day-to-day planning, purchasing, and tracking of materials going through Alba Power's vendor repair and overhaul network.

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

Responsible for the timely conversion of requisitions from raising enquiries through to purchase order placement and delivery
Continuous monitoring and recording of live purchase orders
Develop close working relationship with projects team to ensure progress is met in a time manner
Negotiate purchasing terms with suppliers
Expedite services rendered where specification and client feedback is required to enable suppliers to progress with engineering activity

To succeed in this role, you will need:

Minimum of 3 years' experience within related industry in procurement role
Excellent written and verbal communication
Project management skills
Relationship management skills
Ability to act independently
Excellent MS Office skills
Excel
Attention to detail
Driver's license

Location:
We are a well-established and progressive workshop based in Netherley, Aberdeenshire.

You will be joining a team of 70 experienced and knowledgeable engineers, inspecting, repairing, and overhauling a variety of gas turbine and power turbine models from our purpose-built facilities.

No visa or work permit support can be provided for this role.
