EMPLOYMENT CO-ORDINATOR

Location:
HMP Fosse Way, Leicester, LE18 4WS

Hours:37.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year (possibility of some evening/weekend hours)


Apprenticeships:

Salary:
Up to £26,500 per annum (Dependent on experience)

Reporting To:
Deputy Education Manager (Support Services)


IN SHORT**Milton Keynes College are recruiting for an Employment Co-ordinator to join the Education team at the newly built prison at HMP Fosse Way in Leicester.


As an Employment Co-ordinator, you will be working with a range of partners to produce successful progression into work for students.

Partners will include College staff, external training providers, Serco staff, employers and students.

As part of this team, you will have the opportunity to make a difference to the lives of students, & support the vision and mission of the college.

A key part of the role will be to work with external training providers, regional and national employers to liaise with them to place student students into training and work opportunities.


You may have experience in recruitment, personnel or teaching and are looking to develop your skills and working in a prison environment.

ABOUT HMP FOSSE WAY
HMP Fosse Way is a Resettlement Prison based in the Glen Parva area of Leicester.

Opening in Spring we are now recruiting for talented and creative professionals to join the new Education team based in the prison.

We have vacancies for daytime, evenings, and weekends positions though the majority of Education will be delivered Mon-Fri between 09:00-17:00.

The prison will be operated by Serco with Milton Keynes College as their strategic education provider.


HMP Fosse Way is a new build prison and staff will benefit from working in a new prison with up to date facilities, new resources and equipment.
