Description
Do you have experience of working with disabled children and their families? If so would you be interested in working for Barnardos Brighton & Hove Link Plus and becoming a Home Support Worker to a disabled child/young person and their family?


Our Home Support Workers are based in Brighton & Hove and they are matched to a family who have a disabled child to offer a variety of support and this may include siblings.


For example look after them in their own home, take them to do activities or support the whole family on trips out.

The role could also entail personal care, invasive care and administering medication. Some of our children have physical /leaning difficulties and/or behaviour that is difficult to manage.

You will be employed by Barnardo's on an "As & When" (zero hours) sessional worker agreement


Flexible working hours to suit your availability and this could be at weekends, during the school holidays, before or after school.

Full training and regular support provided.

Salary:
£10.00 per hour
