A varied Human Resources Advisor position for a leading independent company based in Wiltshire.


This is a permanent role for an experienced HR Advisor who is looking for a long-term career role within a vibrant, supportive team.

The role reports directly into the Director and manages one direct report, a HR Administrator.


The key role responsibilities include:

  • Leading Employee Relations cases from brief to resolution
  • Managing the appraisal process, reviewing the current system and providing guidance for updates and improvements
  • Leading and advising on HR Project work
  • Reviewing, assessing and updating HR legislation such as policies, processes and the employee handbook
  • Supporting on the full employee lifecycle from recruitment, contracts and offers, onboarding, training, and development, all the way through to offboarding
  • Overseeing payroll
  • Managing the L&D budget and facilitating career development and learning opportunities for employees

Skills and experience required:

  • Minimum 3+ years working within a HR position
  • Level 5 CIPD or equivalent university degree ideally
  • Strong knowledge and proven experience in UK HR and employment law
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Strong understanding of HRIS and HR systems such as SAP, Cezanne, Workday, etc
The role is based in Wiltshire and ideally you will hold a full valid drivers license.
