PR Account Manager - London - Up to £36,000 - Agency

Our client is looking for a PR Account Manager to work on a mixture of top clients within the drinks industry.

The role will be hands on, covering everything from sourcing press samples to working on annual strategy plans and forging strong, enduring relationshipswith key drinks and lifestyle media across all channels.

Key Responsibilities:

Proactive and reactive trade press activities, including preparing press releases, creating quotations for trade press features, responding to press inquiries, and generating coverage for our clients through media buying.
Implementation and administration of client PR programmes.
Proactive and reactive consumer press relations: drafting press releases, responding to inquiries from prominent consumer lifestyle journalists, and obtaining press coverage for clients.
Copywriting
Organise and attend press briefings, dinners, press trips
Attend client meetings
Managing the Junior Account Executive
23 years experience in PR role, either inhouse or agency side
Experience running consumer PR campaigns
A keen interest in the drinks industry, particularly the Wine industry
High level of written & verbal communication skills with a proven record of producing press releases for all sectors of the media
Confident content writer
Good time management
