Clemence Rogers are currently working in partnership with our client in the recruitment of an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a growing and reputable Automotive company in Barnsley.

The successful applicant will join a close-knit team, assisting with purchase ledger, bank reconciliations, periodic accounting, and general administration.

  • Salary: 25k 27k

Key Responsibilities of a Purchase Ledger Clerk:

  • Processing of invoices.
  • Payment of invoices.
  • Making one off payments to external contractors outside of normal payment runs.
  • Resolving any invoice queries and gaining authorisation.
  • Responding to payment queries from external contractors.
  • Assisting with the month end bank reconciliation.
  • Assisting with the production of year end or periodic accounts.
  • Taking card payments over the phone from customers.
  • Answering telephone queries from customers.
  • Assisting with general administrative tasks

Hours:

Monday to Friday.
