The RoleFortrea is excited to launch the 2024 Biostatistics Graduate Program. Fortrea is a global life sciences company that brings diagnostic testing and drug development together. This graduate program is an opportunity to join Fortrea and start a career as a Biostatistician in clinical research.
Starting in October 2024, the program will combine SAS programming training (no prior experience expected), with tailored internal statistical training on the drug development process, with a key focus on the analysis and reporting of clinical trials.
- Assist in the preparation of Statistical Analysis Plans for studies
- Perform statistical analysis
- Generation of randomization schedules from provided specifications
There is an expectation that the graduates will be primarily office based in our new Leeds, UK office, allowing the intake to bond and thrive with expert support always on hand.
- A minimum qualification of an MSc. in Statistics or related field is required
- Some programming experience in SAS, R, Python, C++, SQL, etc. is nice to have, but not a must
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- A collaborative work style, good problemsolving skills, and the ability to learn new systems and flourish in an evolving technical environment
